Conveying Infant Formula Powder
Customer Challenge
Our customer, an infant and maternal nutrition products manufacturer, installed fourteen Slipstick Sanitary Horizontal Motion Conveyors in the 1990s to convey infant formula powders from silos to packing lines. Approximately twenty years later, this customer reached out to Triple/S Dynamics to expand their current system to increase capacity. This expansion would include two more silos. They wanted to add additional Slipsticks into their processing line and modify the in-service Slipstick Sanitary Horizontal Motion Conveyors purchased in the 1990s.
Triple/S Solution
Triple/S Dynamics Sales and Engineering team worked with our customer to modify eight of their existing Slipstick Sanitary Horizontal Motion Conveyors from the 1990s. The modifications consisted of adding or shortening pan lengths while reusing most of the original
drives.
