Business Developer - Sanitary

The focus in this role will be in the sanitary market sector to include, but not limited to: beverage, candy, frozen foods, meats, snack foods and bakery, petfood, pharmaceuticals, health and beauty and cleaning products.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Mine our existing customer resource management system to better understand the history of success within the market – customers, applications, products utilized, price points, margins, etc.
  • Utilizing historical customer data along with additional marketing information, create a development plan to grow our installed base as well as create new customers in a B2B climate (engineering firms, integrators, corporate entities, end-users (plant level))
  • Become superbly knowledgeable with the sanitary/hygienic market segments
  • Coordinate various designs of configured product with Product Manager and engineering team to meet customer specification and application requirements
  • Promote the full product line through effective presentations and product demonstrations
  • Participate in industry shows and events to promote Triple/S Dynamics’ product line

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, Technology, or other discipline with suitable experience
  • 5+ years of Sales, Sales Management or Business Development experience in the sanitary market
  • Success promoting engineered capital equipment of the material handling variety
  • The ability to create meaningful relationships both internally and externally that inevitably lead to market share growth and customer understanding and satisfaction

Buyer II

Department: Purchasing Department

Reports To: Purchasing Manager

Summary

This position will be responsible for ordering and supplying the organization with materials, supplies, equipment and services to support manufacturing and non-manufacturing processes. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage RFQ’s for non-standard fabricated parts, machined parts, and assemblies.
  • Award orders to vendors based on best value option.
  • Organize purchase orders on a per Customer Order basis and report status to Inventory.
  • Monitor market costing trends
  • Review ERP demand for future shortages and plan accordingly to prevent shortages.
  • Maintain ERP with current pricing, delivery, and vendor contact information.
  • Prepare purchase orders, checking them for accuracy and completeness before issuing.
  • Follow company policies and procedures for the purchase of goods and services.
  • Review acknowledgements for agreement with purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies with the supplier.
  • Resolve receiving discrepancies with the manufacturer.
  • Work with suppliers to obtain an RMA to return defective, incorrect materials for replacements or credit.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in a related field minimum, Bachelors preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings.
  • Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to navigate and maintain company ERP system as required to execute the job.
  • Ability to maintain professional relationships with suppliers and cross-departmentally with team members.
  • Ability to work independently.

Requirements

  • 5+ years prior procurement experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge and understanding of ERP/MRP systems and their use in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.

Mechanical Assembler

Assemble mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications.

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
  • Utilize tools such as socket wrenches, hand held wrenches and pneumatic impact to assemble new and rebuilt equipment
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
  • Dismantle and clean equipment for rebuild
  • Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
  • Prep materials for paint which could include cleaning, masking, sanding and/or grinding
  • Spray paint product using pneumatic spray gun
  • Drive a forklift
  • Operate overhead hoist
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area

Qualification requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years mechanical assembly experience may be required
  • Be here on time and ready to work at the beginning of the shift.
  • Be available to work overtime during the week and on weekends
  • Demonstrate and apply mechanical aptitude
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal directions
  • Basic blueprint reading skills

  • Deposits, Cash receipts & bank reconciliations
