Industrial Slipstick® Product Manager

Triple/S Dynamics is a 130 year-old Texas based company with a rich history of engineering innovation and manufacturing excellence. The focus of this position will be on various segments in the industrial sector to include, but not limited to aggregates/minerals, chemical, plastics/resins, paper/wood/glass, scrap steel, and solid waste.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Mine our existing customer resource management system to better understand the history of success with this product line – customers, applications, key Slipstick sizes, price points, margins – to create a sales plan to grow our installed base as well as new customers domestically and abroad
  • Become knowledgeable with the product line: form and function, configurations, options, specific application suitability
  • Coordinate various designs of configured product with engineering team to meet customer specification and application requirements
  • Become familiar with and improve pricing configuration methodologies
  • Promote the product through effective presentations, product demonstrations and lab testing
  • Participate in industry shows and events to promote Triple/S Dynamics’ product line (focus on the Slipstick)

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or other discipline with suitable experience
  • 10+ years of Sales, Sales Management or Business Development experience in an industrial market
  • Success promoting engineered capital equipment preferably of the material handling variety
  • The ability to create meaningful relationships both internally and externally that inevitably lead to market share growth and customer understanding and satisfaction
  • The ability to comprehend products that are by nature complex and sophisticated with a keen ability to articulate the attributes that enhance their suitability to the application – a passion for machinery
  • The ability to question, listen and follow-up with solutions that solve customer challenges
  • The character and ability to create a strong trust and confidence with the client and potential customer – the highest ethical standards are required to balance loyalties between both client and employer
  • Ability to Travel (both domestically and internationally)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check

Customer Service Coordinator

Triple/S Dynamics is a 130 year-old Texas based company with an incredibly rich history of engineering, manufacturing excellence and innovation. Numerous members of the Fortune 500 have benefited from our Sanitary and Industrial Slipstick horizontal motion conveyors, the Sutton Line of Gravity Separators and Stoners, the RotaScreen and Texas Shaker screening machines along with many other high-performance material handling products. The company is in need of a Customer Service Coordinator to support our growth and the highest levels of customer satisfaction in our after-machine sales activity (parts, field service and audit/preventive maintenance).

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Coordinate Triple/S Dynamics service activities, logistics and parts needs for site visits to include: start-up, warranty repair, audit services and troubleshooting
  • Ensure customers’ requests are handled in an expeditious and professional manner
  • Work with the Service Manager and the Operations Departments to ensure that parts orders are in the queue for processing and delivered in a timely manner
  • Process parts and service orders in the Triple/S Dynamics resource planning system
  • Participate in meetings with other service and operations personnel to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction (parts order/expediting and field service trips)
  • In times of need, quote service and parts based on guidance from other members of the Customer Service Team

Qualifications and Skills

  • 5 years experience in a customer service role employed with an equipment manufacturer – fielding requests for parts, service or technical support
  • The ability to manage Business to Business communication and distant relationships that inevitably lead to customer understanding and satisfaction
  • The ability to comprehend parts drawings and associated nomenclatures to ensure accuracy at time of request
  • The ability to listen, question and follow-up with customer to ensure their needs are fully understood
  • The character and desire to create a strong trust with customer through communication and commitment to the highest levels of customer satisfaction
  • The effective use of MS Office products (Word, Excel and Outlook) and a basic understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
