My drive is leaking oil. Can that be fixed?
An oil leak is usually caused by worn seals, which are a straightforward repair. How often it happens depends on how hard and how fast the drive runs, and how it’s lubricated. Over-lubricating can actually cause leaks.
How often should drive seals be replaced?
As a general guideline, we recommend replacing seals about every six months. Actual intervals vary with run time, speed, and usage.
